It was a very warm day. Josh had car ready by middle of the week. He was pretty well motivated to do well at the races. Hot laps he spun at the end of them, but missed the wall. That was good. He ran his heat and got 7th. So now he needed to run b-main, he took 2nd there. Put him into the feature. Yes! GOOD JOB JOSH. See you can do it. He finished 18th. I think he looked good, spun twice, but no damage was done to car. He got it together and raced. Thanks to the support of the friends and family who are following Josh. Also big thanks to the pitcrew. Eldora will not have racing for Josh for the month of July, so he won't be back there til Aug. 15th and that will be Family Fun Night. Hope to see you all there. If anything happens to change with Josh's dates, hopefully I will remember toget it on here. Everyone try to stay cool thru these warm days and stay safe. Hope to see you at the track.
We headed to Eldora and it started raining, but ended up being able to race. Josh looked good in all his races. Looked even better in b-main. He is learning how the car is handling and staying up with the others now. He got 7th in his heat and took 7th in the b-main. He is staying pretty consistant. He only has 3 more races at Eldora and than the UMP NATIONALS. Which those take place Oct. 9&10. The other 3 races he has are June 20th, Aug.15th, which that is Family Fun Night, and Sept.6th. Hope everyone can join in the fun of routing Josh on and enjoy watching the races. Thanks to the pitcrew and the fans who do come along and support Josh. He is very pleased for all the help and support from everyone. Josh will have time to work on car alittle so he is ready for June 20th. Hope to see everyone there. Josh decide to run Limaland to see if the car was better. He had back firing problems at Eldora last week, so he changed some things and wanted to see if that worked. Josh said car was good, just still trying to get use to it.He finished 7th in the b-main. There were 24 modifieds there. He will be getting car ready for May 30 which is sat. at Eldora. Josh worked all week long on getting things figured out what to do. He started getting things going sunday night stripping the old car down to the frame. We then started tues. putting things on new frame. We pretty much worked day and night to get this together so it would be ready for family fun night. But we did get it done. Thank you for all the help from everyone. Josh appreciated it very much and probably wouldn't have got it finished. We finally made it to Eldora with the car and were hoping we wouldn't have to much wrong. The car seemed to be okay but it is different from old car. Josh got 8th in the heat and he finished 6th in b-main. There were 42 modifieds there. Hopefully Josh will get the car hooked back up and do good with this car for the rest of season. Want to thank all of the family and friends that came out to see him and support him. He will be racing May 30 and then we have a break for a couple of weeks and we will be back June 20th. Also I need to apologize for not getting back on here to let you know if he was racing. All of my time went in helping Josh and this slipped my mind. I am very sorry. Again I am sorry. The day wasn't very nice weather wise. Very windy and cold. We headed to Eldora being very positive on racing tonight. Josh ran hot laps and looked very good. The car looked hooked up. He than ran his heat and on the second to the last lap a car spun right in front of him and Josh slammed into the side of him when he tried to brake and tried to miss him. Then Josh hit the wall. Josh was running same line and had no where else to go. Josh was towed off and the car has severe damage to it. We are hoping to be able to be at Family Fun night if we get things worked out. I will update on friday to let all of the fans know for sure. Thanks to the fans and also the pit crew who are supporting Josh. Please stay tuned. There were 50 modifieds there.
